Tammy Swift-Adams - Director of Planning

Tammy joined Homes for Scotland (HFS) as Principal Planning Advisor in September 2014 and has over 17 years' experience as a town planner specialising in development planning, regeneration and policy development. 

Her role as Director of Planning sees Tammy use her cross-sector experience to lead the HFS planning team and advise the home building industry on all planning matters relating to the delivery of new homes and supporting infrastructure.

Her previous roles include that of Head of Planning for Northumberland National Park Authority and as a planning advisor for the Department for Communities and Local Government. In addition to her role at HFS, Tammy is a corporate member of the Royal Town Planning Institute’s Scottish Executive Committee.

A graduate of Newcastle University, Tammy became a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 2009.
