Play Your Part

Helping our members make sense of the complex and constantly evolving policy and political environment around housing underpins all that the team at Homes for Scotland does on your behalf.

This is demonstrated in the wide range of issues we address - from planning and developer contributions to skills, building standards, utilities and any other of the myriad of challenges impacting the delivery of new homes.

The experience and insight of members is essential to this work - and all have a vital part to play.

Reflecting this, and taking direct feedback into account, we introduced a new, complimentary event on 15 September 2016 at the Houstoun House Hotel, Uphall entitled "Play Your Part".

 Attended by over 90 home builder, RSL and associate members as well as potential new member contacts, the event not only highlighted the various ways in which members can get directly involved in influencing our work through our different groups and committees but also demonstrated the benefits this offers in order to help maximise investment in our organisation.
