Planning team strengthened at Homes for Scotland

Home building industry body Homes for Scotland has strengthened its planning team with the appointment of Nicola Barclay as Principal Planning Advisor.

Already an industry veteran, Nicola (43) has previously worked for a number of developers over the last 18 years including Stewart Milne, Bryant Homes, Taylor Woodrow, AWG and MacFarlane Homes. She has also been involved in the support networking group Women in Property for the last 10 years and was Chair of the Central Scotland Branch in 2007/2008. 

Nicola’s work in her new role includes reviewing and commenting on Local Housing Strategies, Local Development Plans, Strategic Development Plans and Supplementary Guidance, as well as representing and promoting the industry to local authorities, statutory bodies and other groups.
