Scottish home builders rebuff RIBA report

Scottish home building industry body Homes for Scotland today rebuffed the RIBA’s “Case for Space” report, stressing the fact that its undertaken research refers only to England.

Chief Executive Jonathan Fair (right) said:

“With some of the most stringent Building Standards in Europe, Scotland is already leading the way in terms of building to accommodate future lifestyle changes and ensuring adequate activity and furniture space.

“Indeed, with customer satisfaction levels now at record highs in Scotland, one of the key benefits of buying new build is the range of options on offer to suit all needs and demands.”
